Welcome to our new website. We're delighted to get the chance to show it off to you! It has been many months in the making and taken a great deal of time and energy from many people. The road to the new site has been long and rocky at times, but we hope you agree the end result is worth it!

And now for some history...

In the beginning...

The Evans Cycles website has been around in one incarnation or another since 1999, serving us well and helping entrench Evans Cycles as one of the leading cycling websites. In fact, our site has consistently ranked in the Hitwise Top 10 Website in the ‘Shopping & Classifieds - Sports & Fitness' category for the past two years.

During its time the website has evolved from a couple of HTML pages on an old server in the corner to the hub of the company. It is THE place that customers and staff go to get information about Evans Cycles; store details, Ride2Work info, to research and purchase their cycling goods and much, much more!

Moving forward...

The web team, along with Ominor, have been working tirelessly behind the scenes for some time to spec out, develop and launch a brand new website - one that utilises modern web technology, is easy for our customers to use, provides rich product information and information on our stores and services.

We achieved our goal... now what?

We've hopefully achieved our initial goal, to launch a functional and easy to use e-commerce site with a smooth checkout process, enhanced store pages and the ability to hold rich product information and multiple images, but we won't stop there!

We're full of ideas and are already working on adding additional functionality throughout the year, including promotional features, product reviews, product comparison and other great features for our customers.
